Also convenient to the NEW UGA Track and Field Complex set to open in Feb 2026. Whether you're here to cheer on the Dawgs (or their opponents), visit friends, or just enjoy The Classic City, this spot is close to everything-great restaurants, grocery stores, and local favorites.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, there's plenty of space for up to six guests. The open kitchen, living, and dining area make it easy to cook, hang out, and unwind. Outdoor patio space makes it easy to enjoy a peaceful evening outdoors-perfect for those crisp Athens nights.

House is adorable and communication with owner was super easy. It was a little far out from campus but really close to HW entrance so you give and get. I would stay again.

Great Spot for Game Day !

Exceeded my expectations. Carla was a great host. The home was clean, comfortable and a great place to get away from the downtown craziness of game day. It also has a large family room where you don't feel like you're sitting on top of each other. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable place to stay, highly recommend !

Perfect stay for a DAWGS game!

We were a group of three couples who traveled up from Florida to catch a Georgia Bulldogs Football game and we couldn’t have been more pleased with this property. It was out of the way, yet conveniently located to everything that we needed access to. The owner was great about communicating with us and the home itself was cute, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this property again and recommend it to friends.

Wonderful place for a family to stay!

We were in Athens to celebrate my daughter's graduation from the UGA graduate school. Carla's place met ALL our needs and expectations! Anything you could want for a relaxing stay was available. The yard is beautiful. The beds are comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if in Athens and highly recommend this property. It is not in downtown Athens but very close, and the neighborhood is quiet and attractive. We only had about a 15 minute drive to campus for the graduation ceremony.

GameDay Ranch

Perfect place for our family to stay as we come up for the football games. It's a quiet neighborhood a short drive from downtown and the campus of UGA.

I love to travel and enjoy photography—many of my favorite travel photos are displayed throughout my home. Originally from Western New York, I moved to Georgia 27 years ago to escape the snowy winters and eventually fell in love with the Athens area. I’m happy to share this wonderful place I call home.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is within a short walk or drive to Southeast Clarke Park. The park has a large playground for kids and a 1.5 mile nature trail. The beautiful State Botanical garden, nature trails of Lake Herrick, and UGA Intramural fields are all within minutes away. The charming town of Watkinsville is also just a short 15 minute drive from this prime location.

There is a Bus stop near entrance of subdivision. Uber and Lyft are easily accessible to and from neighborhood.

You will have access to the entire house including the garage. The neighborhood is very safe with plenty of parking in the long driveway. Outside garage light is on a motion sensor and porch light is on a timer for added safety.
