Gorgeous studio with amazing views! The pictures don’t do it justice. Loved every second of our stay. Host is quite reactive and had thought of everything! Great location in an amazing area in the Northlands. Hope to return someday!
Nice tidy studio space. Clean and tidy with simple set up that worked well for us. Great view of the water and cute grass area for young children to play. Great stay, thanks!
Absolutely fantastic! Impeccably clean, spacious and well appointed. The scenic views from all directions are world class. Kitchen and bathroom supplies were generously provided. Great proximity to Tutukaka coast activities. A dramatically inclining driveway means that you have height for the views and solitude with neighbouring bush. Loved this place.
Exactly as listed! Easy entry, beautiful views, even milk in the fridge for a 1st cup of tea. Liked it being on two levels. Very comfortable. Perfect for our weeklong visit of the area.
Fabulous location with stunning views (even in the rain) from 3 sides. Really well equipped apartment with great Wi-Fi and a comfy bed. Use of the laundry was a bonus. We were glad we stayed 3 nights to really enjoy it.Good walks just a short car ride away and fish and chips down in the village.
What a pleasant place! Wonderful located w/ great views, not far from Whangarei. We explored area from Waipu to Bay of Islands, all in convenient distances.Kitchen is well equipped, top thing is a portafilter espresso machine! Air con was a useful amenity too. We traveled as a couple. There is one more bed in there, but no wardrobe. At first we were quite surprised but found out later that this seems a common fact in holiday homes around NZ.We never met the host in person, but communication was very smooth and fast anyway.

Highly recommend this property. Has everything you need and more! Position is ideal, views incredible, host is a great communicator and space itself well set out for ease of living. We were sad to leave!
Very welcoming and comfortable studio - in a quiet separate building. Super sunny and warm with a easy to use kitchen. Loved our time there and definitely this is a return - as in a great location close to gorgeous beaches.

It was a home away from home. Loved the 36 degree views of a magnificent coastline. Such a joy to find flowers and local brochures to browse. Even watched a movie at night thanks to a wide variety of choices. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
Pictures in the listening do not do justice to this property.. The views are incredible. We got there after dark so had to contact the host who very easily guided us. Very clean tidy and well kept property.guided usc c We'll certainly intend to go back.
"Ahakoa, he iti he pounamu". Although it is small, it is a treasure. Perfect little apartment in a beautiful area of Northland. The owners have been extremely thoughtful in setting up this rental with everything you could possibly want. Super clean, comfy, warm and with amazing views. Highly recommended. Ngā mihi.
We have stayed before, and Cedar Heights Chalet continues to be our yearly go to place. Nestled in bush, high up in the hills, with views over Ngunguru, this place is just a delight to stay at. There is everything at the Chalet that you need. The place is tastefully decorated, clean, and with comfortable beds. The birdlife and surrounds are beautiful, along with being able to see the stars through windows and a skylight if one wishes to. The owners and communication is easy. Cedar Heights Chalet is a place where you can rest and rejuvenate, a little oasis and slice of paradise!
I had a really relaxing time in this studio. Garden playgThe views are simply amazing, especially on the balcony. Kitchen is well equipped. Minor improvement maybe window, child lock, extractor fan and clothes rack. A car is necessary if steep hill walking is not for you. Overall, none of the minor points matters to us we love our stay, many thanks.
From start to finish this place was a winner. The owner was excellent in answering my queries in the week leading up to our arrival. No detail was missed in terms of accessing the property. There was even a very thoughtful book put together by them outlining every detail of our stay. The accommodation was super cute, with everything being of great quality right down to the dinner set and cutlery provided. There was also nice touches like a nutribullet, coffee machine and travel cups should you wish to take a hot drink out with you.The views from the unit were also spectacular, meaning we will definitely be booking here again.
All good. A great spot. Hosts have an immaculate place to stay, with good coffee and a great coffee machine.Book in could be simpler but that is a bookabach issue. Especially no phone number of owner on the bookin confirmation. When you're going to a new location it is more than helpful to talk the owner esp in the dark. I am not a great fan of let yourself in. I much prefer meet and greet from the host when one arrives. Especially in a place such as this with so much lovely kit for use by the guests - a lot to take in. Even so a great stay and super helfpful owners. We really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks. Ian and Judie.
