This was the perfect cottage for our weekend getaway! We could easily walk to town and the beach was a 6 minute drive away! We loved having access to beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella. It was truly a lovely place to stay!

It was a nostalgic fishing type home that makes us feel like we were in the 1950s. The cabinets and cutlery could use some cleaning. Not a place to cook if you need to cook in. Location was excellent and host was great at communication when we had questions. The ac is pretty loud so if you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring some ear plugs. Lovely yard!

The cottage was extremely disappointing in terms of cleanliness, air quality, and overall condition. The air inside was stale and musty, and only a few windows could be opened, making it impossible to properly ventilate the bedrooms. Most concerningly, one of the minors traveling with us suffered severe asthma and allergy attacks due to the conditions inside the cottage. This was far beyond a matter of taste or comfort and seriously affected our stay.The sheets felt like cheap polyester, while the blankets and bedding were dirty, dusty, and stained. The furniture and overall interior looked as though they had been collected from the garbage rather than thoughtfully furnished for paying guests. Nothing appeared properly cleaned or even dusted. Even the supposedly renovated bathroom looked unfinished, with a mirror crudely attached to the wall using visible screws.Unfortunately, the property fell well below even basic expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort.

We had a wonderful stay and already can’t wait to come back again! This cottage has a lot of charm, and was the perfect distance to downtown Nantucket, and located in a beautiful and quaint neighborhood!

It’s unusual to find a property close to town in Nantucket that you can rent for less than 1 week. The house is comfortable, old Nantucket style with all the amenities you need. Host is very friendly and responsive. There is a large yard we enjoyed with parking, 2 fire pits and a grill and outdoor shower. Things I would like to know before arrival:Property grounds are shared with another house. The small bedroom does not have air conditioning. There is a Kurig machine but coffee pods are not sold on the island- so if you want use, bring your own.

Wonderful vacation getaway!

This was a perfect house for our visit! Centrally located so an easy walk to town and a quick trip to all the beaches. Nice, quiet, and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!

Nantucket Cottage

Lovely cottage in the absolute perfect location. Short 10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Nice outdoor shower, bonfire pit and outdoor space including a bbq to grill up the fresh caught bluefish. Our family bikes the entire island from here, quick access to most bike paths.

Perfect in-town cottage for family of 3

My husband, teenage son and I loved staying at this cottage. We stayed at the owner's other property earlier this summer when we had more people with us. The experience and property were so great we tried the smaller cottage this time and were equally impressed. Location to town and beach is ideal, cleanliness was perfect. It all worked very well for us including the outdoor dining table and outside shower. I highly recommend this property for a family of 3.

Great property !

We had an amazing week in Nantucket. House was just what we needed - perfect for the 3 of us. (note : second bedroom is tiny with only a twin bed. Main house on property is much bigger if you have more than 5 people) Location was perfect, In town but tucked on a side street with huge yard and lots of outdoors seating.. We felt like we were further out in countryside. We rode bikes everywhere.! Definetly will stay there next summer. Thank you Deirdre❤️

Cozy Cottage Close to Town
