Early summer water levels may partially cover the sand.

Conveniently located near Highway 15, roughly halfway between Toronto and Montreal, approximately 40 minutes from the US border, and just over an hour from Ottawa.
While not located on the Rideau Canal itself, the Rideau Lakes region is nearby for exploring, dining, golf, boating, and seasonal events.
