A Piece of Paradise
Loved the view! The cabin was supplied with a vast amount of games and fun things for kids to play with. Furniture was gorgeous and comfortable.
House is lovely, secluded property with beautiful views. As noted in listing, the road up is narrow and steep but manageable. Easy with dogs, nice fenced in area. Only disappointment was there is no place to have a fire outside and no grill. "Fire pit" in listing is a propane burning fire ring set in a table, nice to have on the deck, but not the same as sitting around an actual wood burning camp fire. Fireplace inside the house is wood burning and very cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Groceries, restaurants, and hikes were an easy drive away. We also enjoyed walking the road in the neighborhood with our dogs.

Great
This cabin was amazing. The place was clean and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable and all amenities were great. The hot tub is a great addition. The internet can be a little spotty but that’s what you can expect when you’re in the middle of the mountains. The road up the hill to the house can be a little treacherous so just be ready for that.
The cabin was beautiful and looked the the pictures. We appreciated the amenities, although we wished the spa worked. It did have a sewage smell the entire time we were staying there, especially on the entire lower level. That was the main discomfort. We also wished we had a larger trash can outdoors. The cabin fits a lot of people so a bigger receptacle that accommodates the group size would have been helpful for landlords and renters.

Perfect Mountain Retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gold Creek Mountain Retreat. The house is very well maintained and beautifully renovated. The kitchen was very stocked and organized. It had everything we needed to eat several meals at the cabin. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Everything is exactly like the pictures—perfect. The view from the porch is beautiful for morning coffee or in the evening. The hot tub was very clean and nice to have available. The road is a very well maintained gravel road and it can be tricky navigating the first time to the house. We had no issue finding it though and the directions were great. We did spot bears in the area, so be bear aware. We loved our time at this cabin and hopefully will be back again soon.

Stinky dead rodent
The home is lovely and nicely furnished. It was clean when we arrived.
There is no place to store food other than on the counters. There are no accessible closets or anywhere to hang clothes.
We were only provided with one roll of paper towels and 4 rolls of toilet paper and so had to drive 30 minutes each way to purchase those. The area is very remote and there aren't any stores nearby.
The home description states that all wheel drive is recommended. It should be more specific and detailed about the steepness and condition of the driveway. It is VERY steep and rough. I drive a truck with 4 wheel drive and it was rough even with that. My daughter got stuck and had to call a tow truck.
The worst part is that there is a rodent problem. We could hear them moving and scratching around in the walls on the lower level and there is a very bad odor in the lower level master. Probably a dead rodent in the wall.
We left a day early because of this.
