2 bedroom farmstay self-catering apartment with far-reaching views across the Cornish countryside. This loft apartment above Demelza Cottage has its own access and is nestled in the hamlet of Demelza, from which the famous Poldark character got her name.
It is tucked away in the heart of Cornwall, yet Padstow, Wadebridge, Watergate Bay, Newquay, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Truro and Bodmin Moor are all within a 20 minute drive.
Nearest beaches (within 20 mins drive): Newquay town beaches, Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth, Constantine, Mother Ivey's, Harlyn, Carlyon Bay, Charlestown, and Porthpean.
Plenty of parking and an outside seating area which is an ideal spot to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. At dusk, look out for bats, and settle down to gaze at the myriad of stars, visible in the dark skies.
Please note that the apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and is accessed via a spiral staircase, so it may not be suitable for those that are less mobile, or with very young children.

Very quiet and secluded location. Peaceful and serene. We had lovely weather and really enjoyed our stay in Cornwall. Location is in a good location to see many sites and beaches. Would definitely stay again. Thanks
We had an excellent time here, the kids loved seeing all the animals and the house itself is really nice. Location-wise it's a short drive from the beaches on either coast and therefore a great base for exploring a few different places. The owner is really nice, too. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the review Brendan. Hope your journey home was ok.
absolutely perfect location for our short stay away, easily accessible with postcode and directions, property was absolutely stunning with the best views to look out on! couldn't recommend kim enough :)
Demelza Cottage if just as described. It offered peace and quiet, but an apartment with every gadget and facility I needed for feeling of home comfort. It is well located to get to the Atlantic and Channel beaches by car and I reached the former on bicycle by road and the Camel Trail.
If you chose this accommodation, I know that Kim will ensure your comfort.

Thanks for the review Peter. Hope the journey back was OK and perhaps we'll get to see you again. You and the family will be most welcome.
Me and my partner spent our bank holiday here and it was the most perfect getaway. There is plenty to do within this area including the Eden project, plenty of walks in close proximity of the cottage and it’s also located in a very peaceful area so you can enjoy the countryside bliss. We were also lucky enough to experience feeding little lambs which the host so kindly invited us to.
Amazing place, absolutely loved it.

Thanks for the lovely review Georgia. You came at just the right time for the new lambs. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again one day. Maybe the Shepherd's Hut next time, now that you're a fully-fledged shepherd.

I traded in the rat race, posh clothes, and motorways for a life in wellies in the countryside, driving narrow country lanes. I have never looked back and hope to share a piece of the good life with you.
