Everything is as advertised. We loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the river. We saw maybe 10 elk one morning passing through. It was a great proximity to downtown Estes and the national park. I would definitely stay here again.
Great stay. There were 4 adults in our group. Plenty of space. Cabin is about 5 minutes from all of the Estes action and about 5 minutes from the RMNP entrance. Cabin was very clean and the creek is about 40' from the back deck...very nice.
What a fantastic stay at this cottage, everything you could ask for and more. Great location, great accommodations and great scenery. Thank you so much and can’t wait to stay again.
Beautiful cabin! We had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. The weather wasn’t very cooperative but we made the best of our time there. Can’t wait to visit again!
We have been visiting Estes Park for almost 20 years and this is one of our most favorite properties; very well maintained and decorated, great location right on the Big Thompson river...nothing better than cool mountain air and the sound of the river outside of you open windows! Thanks for sharing this wonderful property!
This property is perfectly located! It doesn’t get any better than the river flowing in your backyard! So peaceful and relaxing! It’s decorated very nice and it was very clean! Would definitely stay here again!
Perfect for two couples to catch up and relax by the gorgeous river. Both bedrooms are great. Close to town and the nat’l park. Elk came right through the neighborhood!
Beautiful home steps away from the Big Thompson River, wonderful sound to go to sleep to and wake too. The home is well appointed and very comfortable. Minutes from Estes Park and Rocky National Park. Enjoyed our stay very much and will be back for sure.
Our family loved our 2 night stay and wish we could have extended our time. Everything was beautiful and cozy. We loved the porch with the river flowing. Our kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and playing family games. It was the perfect stay in Estes and we hope to return!
We loved our stay! The place was clean and kept up well. Had the windows open at night to sleep to the sounds of the river. The place was decorated very nicely and the cabin vibes made you right at home. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Bonus sightings of bears running through the backyard and a lynx and her baby hanging out on the other side of the river. Highly recommend!
We really had a great stay in this cabin. It was absolutely perfect for a cozy winter vacation. Beds and couches were super comfy with a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms with everything we needed. The back porch overlooking the river was also something special. Not to mention the hosts were also very responsive. The only downside is we didn’t get to stay longer! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute cabin in Estes Park. Don’t pass this one up.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Riverfront Mountain Cottage Retreat. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer!
The location is wonderful - close enough to town, RMNP and our favorite restaurants. Being right on the river is such a relaxing setting and we loved hearing the sounds of water rushing through our open windows at night. The home is stocked with everything we needed and the furniture is fitting and super comfortable - especially the master bed!
We look forward to returning!!
We loved this location and the house was super clean and cozy. The location of this property is perfect if you're planning to spend a lot of time in RMNP. We loved leaving the windows cracked to hear the river and take in the fresh air. The kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook there.
Our only issue was the master mattress needs to be replaced, but the property manager was so kind and quickly brought over a mattress topper for us which helped a bit.
My husband and I and a close girlfriend stayed for three nights, but wish we could have stayed longer! Your home was so cozy and beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were wonderful as well. We spent lots of time hiking, but also sitting out back by the river. We saw magpies and a hummingbird came very close to my friends face, and it was so funny. Highly recommend this home. Kathy, Tim and Trish.
Cute and cozy cottage right by the river. We had a great stay, it was the perfect jump point for several hikes nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Even appreciated the gas grill outside. Only hick up was the address provided in the check in email took us to the first house on the right when entering the neighborhood. We interrupted a nice group on their vacation before we found out we should take the left into the neighborhood. Whoops!
