Welcome to Happy River Cottage!
Find serenity on the river in this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome in Estes Park. This magical cottage is the perfect getaway located in a peaceful setting, on the Big Thompson river, surrounded by Spruce and Aspen trees and filled with wildlife stopping by to drink from the happy river. Pass the time by relaxing on the porch, making s’mores on the fire pit, and enjoying lunch at your own picnic area. There are river views from nearly every room in the house. Open the windows and let the rolling river lull you to sleep. Happy River Cottage features a washer and dryer, free TV, and WiFi and local calls.
Blue Spruce Village is located 2 miles from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park and just a few minutes from charming downtown Estes Park.

This cottage is so charming and perfect. The upstairs bedrooms each have their own en-suite bathroom, making sharing the unit with another couple ideal. Our son loved the river and it so lovely so sit on the patio and listen to the water. The place is perfectly located close enough to downtown Estes and RMNP, but far enough away from the crowds.

This cozy, clean, well stocked retreat with the wide, rushing Big Thompson out the back door is a gem! Exactly what we hoped to find! Truly a respite right on the river and perfect space for 4 people. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware and dishes, the all-in-one washer/dryer appears new, and the towels and bedding were soft and lush.

Beautiful home. Well decorated and clean. It was right on the river and you could leave your windows open and it was perfect. We slept peaceful in the great beds and the sound of the river. This house is connected to another house but there were no neighbors. Fully stocked with anything you need to cook. Will stay again.

Great stay!

Everything is as advertised. We loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the river. We saw maybe 10 elk one morning passing through. It was a great proximity to downtown Estes and the national park. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little cabin!

We loved our stay! The view was beautiful, the cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed! Perfect spot not too far from town and close to the local grocery store! We will definitely visit again!!

Great cabin, great location to RMNP and Estes Park!

The porch area that backs up to the Big Thompson River is amazing! Grocery store and gas 5 minutes away, quiet neighborhood!

Estes Cabin on the Water

Great stay. There were 4 adults in our group. Plenty of space. Cabin is about 5 minutes from all of the Estes action and about 5 minutes from the RMNP entrance. Cabin was very clean and the creek is about 40' from the back deck...very nice.

Great Cottage!

We had a terrific week! Such a charming cottage in an ideal location. We loved the easy access to RMNP and Estes, but also so relaxing sitting by the river on the porch. We hope to return to Happy River Cottage!!!

Perfect little getaway

Beautiful cabin! We had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. The weather wasn’t very cooperative but we made the best of our time there. Can’t wait to visit again!

Fabulous Fall Getaway!

We have been visiting Estes Park for almost 20 years and this is one of our most favorite properties; very well maintained and decorated, great location right on the Big Thompson river...nothing better than cool mountain air and the sound of the river outside of you open windows! Amazing stay in Estes Park

I am so happy we chose to stay in this cottage! The location was great. The river is right outside the back deck and the sound of the water was such a beautiful soothing background while sitting on the deck and while sleeping at night. The furnishings and the bed were very comfy! Definitely a house we would rent again!
