Mountain View Apartment with fabulous 10 mile view into Acadia National Park

2 1/2 miles from downtown Bar Harbor and Frenchman's Bay. 1 mile west of Eagle Lake. Access the trails right from our driveway. Large deck, gas BBQ. Pure water from our 600' deep well. 1/2 acre, grass, gated and fenced dog yard for your four-legged family members.
There is an inside staircase to the apartment. Please be sure you and your dogs are able to climb stairs!
Please note.. RENTING ONLY SATURDAY TO SATURDAY! Please google 27 Hulbert's Way for directions!

The apartment was in the perfect location for us, centered on MDI. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It was cozy and the stars were incredible which we were able to gaze at from the porch! Check in and parking super easy. The place had everything we needed, we will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. Yard and dog friendly house was perfect for our puppy. Glad we chose to stay with Marilyn and Steve. Ability to do laundry was a real bonus traveling with kids.

Great Location, perfect for fur-family!

We stayed over 4th of July week and our cottage was in the perfect spot to access Acadia NP and Bar Harbor! We really enjoyed the dog-friendliness and the fenced-in dog area was a plus! If needed, they would even let your dog out and feed them for you which was good to know in case our day ran longer than planned (we didn’t end up needed this, but good to know just in case!) There was only 1 AC unit in the living room, but lots of fans to spread around! Our toilet broke a few days in, but we were able to do a temporary fix on it, and Marilyn came out to access it quickly, although no one was able to come to fix it during the remainder of our stay. It was a bit of an inconvenience, but we made it work! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils and pots/pans we needed. We even had a nice deck to use! Overall a great stay in a great location!

We, Steve and Marilyn Ryan built this property in Acadia National Park and we have had many successful years of renting to some of the best people on the planet, many of whom bring their doggies to enjoy Acadia National Park.

Why they chose this property

Looking out of your window or from your large deck, you'll see the mountains covered with the forests of Acadia National Park. You only have to walk down the 600 foot driveway and you will be on the National Park Trails and can walk or ride your bike to Eagle Lake and Aunt Betty's Pond.

What makes this property unique

We are on our own 7 private acres inside Acadia National Park. Our house is on the property too. We have no neighbors, a couple of other rentals, parking, and a large, fenced, grass, doggie yard. We have a pure, delicious well. No need to buy water when you stay with us! Quiet, close to town with lots of beautiful trees! Hand built, hand stained knotty pine interior. Tiffany style lamps hanging from the ceiling from and old store in Bar Harbor. Celestial windows and southern exposure bring in lots of light to the living room. There are stairs, so if anyone cannot do stairs, please inquire about our other places. Please note.. we rent only Saturday to Saturday.
