About this property

Cabin's entire, private lower level w/ mountain view & cozy, comfortable living.

In the heart of Colorado Springs yet incredibly secluded this gorgeous home boasts breathtaking, panoramic views of the front range; a homey and comfortable space with in-ground pool and hot tub (SEASONAL: open April 15th - Oct 15th) Just 20 Minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown. but with miles of hike-able trails in the backyard and at adjacent Palmer Park, this is an outdoor escape.

The rental itself is the entire lower level of the host's home. It features a private, three-season porch, its own entrance, a spacious living area with a big-screen TV and comfy couch and chair set, two beautifully furnished bedrooms, a kitchenette with full-sized fridge, toaster oven, microwave, skillet, and hot plate, a nice bathroom with stand up shower, and a laundry area (NOTE - 1 load per stay is complimentary, after that $3 50 per load).

There is a big patio in the front, and nice pool deck in back you can use to relax and enjoy.

The rooms are very cozy and welcoming. Stephanie the host was very accommodating. Anything you could think of you would need was there. She had an amazing book collection for any bibliophiles. So Cozy!

What a gem! Stephanie's place is comfortable and cozy! The beds are top notch, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. It was a wonderful place for us to rest after busy days of sightseeing. Communication with Stephanie was easy and clear. My husband, mother and I truly enjoyed our visit to the Springs, and this VRBO was a big part of that!

Delightful place for a couple or small family

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this place. It was comfortable, cozy and convenient. It was easy to not only get to all the places we wanted to visit, but to shopping and dining as well. We loved and enjoyed the pool, which our daughter felt was right up there with the best highlights or our vacation in Colorado Springs. Great living area. Pool was great! We did Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Zoo and downtown Colorado Springs and everything was a 20min drive away which I thought was nice. Temps were 85 to 90 degrees each day, but basement was kept cool even with only one air conditioner in 1 bedroom. We kept that door open to the rest during the day. Walgreens for snacks and anything we needed was only like 3 minutes away. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful

We had an amazing little getaway for my husband, myself, and 8 year old daughter. We felt very at home at house on the bluffs. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The view of the mountains from one of the bedrooms, sun porch, and living room was so nice. The beds were very comfy and there were little touches everywhere such as little toiletries and tea/coffee. Stephanie was an amazing host and very kind and hospitable. She respected our privacy. My daughter just loved the pool and hot tub which was a selling point. We definitely hope to come back to Colorado and stay again.

Few days with family in Colorado Springs.

We had the entire basement of the home. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The owners upstairs were very quiet and respectful of or privacy. Stephanie goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. One evening there was a problem with the pump. But Stephanie and her husband worked hard to fix it so we could swim that night.

Why they chose this property

Home on the Bluffs, as it is dubbed, is a beautiful, diamond in the rough forclosure-find I happened upon over 10 years ago now. I got it on a bid and put elbow grease behind it to bring it to the beautiful space it is now. It is such a great location, as it is close to everything, but still so secluded. You can't get better in the city. Enjoy!
