We enjoyed our stay here. The stairs are very steep, but it was fun to stay in a quaint older home. Felt very homey and comfortable. It's in a very beautiful location. Kate was very responsive and helpful. Great stay!

Very cute little cottage in a perfect spot for our group to travel north and south to explore the area. The host left a dz of fresh eggs on the counter for us, super kind and very helpful, one of our ladies did some baking while we were there! Beds were comfortable and everything felt cozy and welcoming. Every year our group of high school friends of 45years get together with a theme and visit somewhere new. The stone cottage fit our Speak Easy theme to a T! We all enjoyed our stay! One thing to note, the stairs to go up to the other 3 bedrooms are tricky and some of the ladies packed heavy, so it took some extra hands to get suitcase upstairs safely! Minor issue, just added to the charm!

The Cottage is a rustic, quaint, historic and charming spot. The host, Kate, was wonderful to work with, as we had changes to the itinerary, a couple of snags that required support. We were even welcomed with a dozen fresh eggs and a warm electric fire on a cold, rainy night. We loved the nearby pond and the night sounds of the frogs. It isn't too far from Barre and there are beautiful landscapes nearby. Even though it is close to the road, it isn't very noisy and is really quiet after 9 or 10 pm.

Nice little place to stay right on RT14

We spent the weekend for a family reunion amd had a great time. The house was close to where we needed to go and was very nice to stay at. We would all stay again sometime.

This cottage was perfect for our family stay! There are plenty of modern amenities, but the home retains so much of its historical charm. The hosts were AMAZING - very sweet and responsive!

Awesome Place!

Kate was very helpful and checking in on if we needed anything. Very accommodating. Left us 12 eggs from her farm on our arrival. They were delicious. Real homey feeling.

Restful cottage

The perfect place to rest, relax and unplug from the daily chaos. The cottage was cozy and homey. It slept 4 adults easily. Enjoying coffee every morning on the front porch was my favorite part of the stay.

Kate was a great host and she was flexible with our late arrival- she even brought us fresh eggs! The cottage was cozy and we loved sitting on the porch in the mornings. The location was convenient for exploring central Vermont.

Quiet cottage

This cottage is on a quiet country road. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch each evening. I was impressed that the large dining room has space for 8 people to eat comfortably. I would stay here again.
