Summary:
The Ark on the Sea
The Space:
Breathe in the cool mist of the fresh ocean air at this spacious Lincoln City home, gorgeously situated with views of the waves rolling onto the shore. It's a place for memorable days spent strolling to the beach, playing foosball and pool in the game room, and marveling at the sunset from the balcony overlooking the Pacific.
This three-story home is located in the Nelscott neighborhood, right around the corner from an access point to Lincoln City's seven-mile stretch of beach. It's the perfect spot for beachcombing, boogie boarding, agate-hunting, or simply relaxing in the provided beach chairs on the sand. When you're ready to get out and explore, check out the many antique stores and gift shops, the Lincoln City Outlets (two miles), the Sunday Farmers & Crafters Market (four miles), or the Chinook Winds Casino (five miles).
As you enter the house by way of the top-floor great room, you'll be greeted by soaring ceilings and skylights, a gas fireplace that warms the open living space, and spectacular views of the ocean through a rear wall of windows. It's a wonderful, social space for cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, dining while watching for whale spouts, and sitting down for movies together - all within a view of the water.
For entertainment, head downstairs to the middle level to play board games, stream movies, and enjoy popcorn and cold drinks in the den (with its own kitchenette). One level below, you'll find the fun-filled game room equipped with pool and foosball tables, and another TV. Each of the bedrooms - one on the top floor, two on the middle floor - has a view of the ocean to wake up to. High-speed WiFi and a private laundry room are provided as well.

The house was amazing, the game room in the basement was perfect for kids to play while young babies slept upstairs and couldnt hear a thing. The view upstairs is beautiful and the best floor. The kitchen could use some restocking of utensils and kitchen staples like pepper, foil or wrap etc otherwise it was great. One thing to note is the drive way is really steep and fits 2 cars comfortably and best to back in.
We stayed for 4 nights. The house was very spacious for 6 of us and two dogs. It has more space than we need. For a place that allows pets, they kept it very clean. It was perfect for my family, who loves to keep things clean. The house is pet friendly, but it really doesn’t have a backyard for your four-legged friends to do their business. You will have to take them out the front of the house and take them for a quick walk on the gravel road, which has a patch of grass on each side for them to take care of business. The view was very spectacular from all three levels, especially from the main floor. We were able to see the sunset and the ocean. Very easy access to the beach, which I took the dogs out for morning walk every day. The parking space in front of the house was a little tricky to park two cars. It is slightly slanted towards the main entrance. If you are very experienced drivers, you should not have any issues parking. I would recommend reversing your car into the driveway. It makes it easier when leaving the house. The host/property management was very helpful. They kept checking in with us to make sure we are ok and everything was in order. As I’ve mentioned, my family likes to keep the house clean, we would like to vacuum the house on daily basis since we have two dogs with us. Unfortunately, the only vacuum cleaner they have contained a faulty battery. It would not hold a charge. We contacted the property manager (Vrbo – Casago Team), and they tried to get us
Want to watch the wildness of the Oregon coast play out before your very eyes? Then this is a fantastic rental! Quick and easy to the beach and the views are stunning.
Only wishlist item is a proper propane grill. That little charcoal Weber isn't really enough if the property sleeps 10. We like to grill in the summer!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Carolyn. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful views and convenient location that our home offers. We have passed along your suggestion to update the grill to the local manager for careful consideration. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and all had a wonderful time. Amazing views from the house and good access to the beach. Enjoyed the game room. Stairs to the game room were a bit steep and scary for the toddler and we were glad we brought baby gates. The only other minor issue we had was we wished the window sills were cleaned; the toddler kept touching them and they were covered in mildew. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.
Well stocked property. Lots of fun things to do. Enjoyed the game room immensely, but needs darts for the dart board (only one worked). Should be an easy fix. We really enjoyed our stay!
The house was laid out really well for two families. We had a wonderful time there. The absolute best part of the house is the top floor kitchen and living room with an incredible view. The game room was a wonderful and the pre teens and teens hung out there a bunch and even the grown ups too! Access to the beach is great although down a pretty steep couple of blocks.
We wanted a place that was on the beach and had room for us to move around. This was perfect for our needs. Nice, clean, roomy, beautiful view of the ocean, and a short walk to the beach. Close to many places to visit and enjoy along the coast. Yummy seafood buffet at Chinook Casino. We loved our stay here. Grocery stores close by, that offer some variety for people with food allergies, and souvenier gift shops. Fast response from property manager.

Girls Beach Weekend
House is clean & kitchen was amazingly stocked.
Game room was fun....outdoor space was less than desirable... parking was horrible and not described well in listing. It is not directly on the beach and beach access was tough. We loved the house as it was beautiful but probably wouldn’t stay again. Clean and very functional.
Families with teens would love it!
