A clean, private, quiet, historic, and just cool property. Originally a 17th century Palazzo. So many useful amenities. There's air conditioning and it works well but we did not use it even when it was over 30 degrees. Probably because of the stone walls and narrow streets blocking the sun. Very nice! Maybe plumbing could use an update but it's workable. Location is more important and the host is amazing. Polite, accommodating, responsive. Thank you!

Like staying in a museum

The host was so gracious and attentive without interrupting our vacation. The location was so close and yet you aren't bothered by any noise (except the occasional church bells, but that's everywhere). We made sure to include the stair master in our pre-visit workouts as he did not exaggerate about the 99 steps. But between the accommodations and the great legs we now have, it was definitely worth it!
