About the host
Hosted by Molly Brown

This home has been in our family since 1981 and we have spent almost every major holiday here together, including Christmas and New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and July 4th. Our parents retired to this home in the 1990's and we continued to spend many occasions together each year in Montreat as they grew older and spent their golden years in this wonderful community. Montreat was created to provide a sanctuary for Presbyterian clergy to retire here after their years of service.
Why they chose this property
Although our parents have passed away, this home is their legacy to my sister, me and our children who spent so much time here with their grandparents...Our home away from home. Our families come up often to spend time together making new memories. We want to invite you and your family (or friends) to experience the wonder of Montreat in our special home and make your own memories.
What makes this property unique
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can escape to Montreat where life slows down and you can listen to nature in this quiet setting. Whether you are sitting on the porch reading a book, cooking a family meal, playing some cards on the covered deck watching the afternoon showers, watching a football game, taking an afternoon stroll to Lake Susan, or visiting in front of the fireplace --- these are the memories you will want to share with your family and friends.
